She forced Shannon Noll into a familiar second place after winning the title of Jungle Queen on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here on Monday night.
And despite the glory that came with her triumphant win, comedian Fiona O’Loughlin, 54, has revealed that she took no joy in defeating the What About Me Singer.
‘There was nothing sweet at all about knocking Shannon out of the race,’ she told The Project during a live tele-cast interview on Tuesday.
‘Nothing sweet at all!’ I’m A Celebrity winner Fiona O’Loughlin, 54, has revealed there was nothing nice at all about knocking co-star Shannon Noll out of the jungle
‘He’s been an utter gentleman to me… in the last few weeks of this competition the camp was literally wall-to-wall gentlemen.’
The conversation quickly turned to what Fiona would do after her win, with the funny-woman revealing she’s gearing up to become a grandmother.
‘I want to be the most batsh*t mad crazy grandmother I can be,’ she gushed. ‘I just want to enjoy the lot of it.’
The Project’s Peter Helliar then asked the comedian if she planned on writing or performing a comedy show about her time in the South African jungle.
‘The world is your oyster, what are you going to do?’
However, the stage performer was tight-lipped about her future career plans, instead, choosing to make a joke.
Wall-to-wall gentlemens! Instead, the comic said the What About Me singer was a complete gentleman and won’t be drawn into mocking him
I’m a storyteller! On future plans, Fiona hinted at writing a sitcom but said she’s got a lot of stories from her time in the jungle and she’s a storyteller
‘I’m actually going to get Brenda and Ron into counselling… because they have a lot to do,’ she quipped.
She then hinted at possibly writing a sitcom, at which point co-host Peter probed further into whether she was working on a stage show.
‘No, I’m a very lazy person, Peter,’ she said, making another self-deprecating joke.
Shock win! Comedian Fiona was named the I’m A Celebrity winner, beating out boxer Danny Green and country singer, Shannon Noll
Emotional: The comic was emotional after the win, with boxer Danny Green having been the favourite to take out the win
