Julia Morris reflects on TV career in hilarious post ahead of Logies


She’s had plenty of memorable TV WEEK Logie Awards appearances over the years, including blurting out a winner prematurely, tripping on stage and dropping the F-bomb during the live broadcast. 

And on Wednesday, Julia Morris appeared to campaign for a Gold Logie as she reflected on her impressive TV career with hilarious collages.

The comedian, 49, got nostalgic with the tiled image as she hinted ‘It’s Logies voting time’ to her 177k followers.

Julia has been nominated this year for a Silver Logie in the ‘Most Popular Presenter’ category for her role as host of Channel Ten’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The montage showed off her presenting skills and her unique humour on-and-off the stage.

She made sure to highlight her long-standing career in Australian television by including shots from her acting role in House Husbands, presenting role on Australia’s Got Talent, Who Do You Think You Are? and I’m A Celebrity.

Julia dedicated a whole 14-picture collage to her role on I’m A Celebrity over the past four seasons, which featured her co-host Dr Chris Brown.

Her fans were clearly impressed by the effort that went into the post, and expressed: ‘You deserve the Gold for this montage alone!!’

Australian actress Rebecca Gibney claimed the Gold Logie would either go to Julia or Project host Lisa Wilkinson, joking: ‘I can be bribed for my vote… love u(sic) both.’ 

Julia’s 2018 Silver Logie nomination is her fifth nomination since 2013.
