RHOS star Lisa Oldfield wants Shannon Noll to win I’m A Celebrity

She’s the Real Housewives Of Sydney star that isn’t afraid of ruffling feathers and telling it like it is.

And after Lisa Oldfield’s brief stint in the South African jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, she’s revealed who she wants to win.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Lisa pledged allegiance to ”Vote 1 Nollsy!’ for former Australian Idol runner-up Shannon Noll.

‘All my campmates were legends but I’d really like to see @nollsie come first for a change!’ Lisa said, referring to rival Guy Sebastian taking first place over Shannon in 2003 on Ten’s talent show Australian Idol.

Lisa, who entered the jungle with her politician husband David Oldfield, said it was a tough to pick who she wanted to win.

Shannon didn’t appear to be her first choice, as she continued: ‘My favourite was @dannygreen.boxer but I’m a bit pissed off with him after how he treated my darling @jackiegilliestv over the last few days.’

Last year Australian Idol alumni Casey Donovan became the ‘queen of the jungle’, but according to Sportsbet Shannon is far from the odds-favourite.

Shannon, 42, previously revealed on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! last month that he spent his Australian Idol fortune paying off debts.

Speaking with fellow cast-mate Fiona O’Loughlin, the singer-songwriter explained he had grown up working on his family’s farm in Condobolin, NSW, before the business fell into crippling debt just prior to his stint on the TV show.

‘We tried to farm our way out of it and the next two years we failed because of drought,’ he said.

‘So that cost 40 or 50 grand at a time for fuel and feed and that sort of thing.’

Shannon continued: ‘We went further into debt so we had a family meeting and said: “If we fail again we’re gone”, so we had just enough money to buy another house and I went on Idol and it all blew up from there.’

The What About Me chart-topper said that his newfound fame immediately drew the attention of creditors.

‘A few creditors were left over and they [had] seen me on the show and chased mum really hard for the shortfall,’ Shannon said

‘I wrote a cash cheque out for $209,000 to a tractor company,’ he went on to say, becoming even more emotional.

‘I thought I was doing the right thing. I was a farmhand, I’d never run a business before so I paid a lot of those debts out and consequently all the big money I made after the show, I paid bills with it.’

He added: ‘I didn’t blow it on yachts and all that sort of stuff.’

Shannon, who came from five generations of farmers who spent more than 100 years on the land, was eventually forced to sell the farm in 2009.
