They became pals in the South African jungle when they appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
But on Tuesday, Sydney was the setting for Vicky Pattison and Simone Holtznagel when the pair were reunited.
Standing on the balcony of the city’s Hacienda bar – with the Harbour Bridge as a backdrop – Vicky took to Instagram to share her excitement.
‘Jungle reunion with this BABE!’ Busty Brit Vicky Pattison has shared a snap of herself enjoying a night out with I’m A Celebrity co-star, Simone Holtznagel
Not forgetting their time at Kruger National Park, Vicky started her caption: ‘Jungle reunion with this BABE.’
Vicky, who was the winner of the UK version of I’m A Celebrity, continued: ‘Thank you @haciendasydney for having us.’
She then broke with a cheeky joke: ‘This view is amazing…and the bridge isn’t bad either.’
Jungle days! The pair both appeared on the last season of the Australian version of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here
While on the show, Simone went home in the final weeks while Vicki made it into the final three with singer Shannon Noll and the eventual winner, comedian Fiona McLoughlin.
The Australians must have impressed her as she announced this week on Channel Ten show Studio Ten that she’d like to move Down Under.
Similarities? Both Simone and Vicky gained a legion of fans on the South Africa-based reality show
On the show she was also set a citizenship test in which she had to tell the difference between two Australian icons.
Studio 10 co-host Ita Buttrose told the Brit: ‘One of these men has spent decades in politics, and was our prime minister for two years…’
‘The other man has won 91 golfing titles and is best friends with Donald Trump.’
No idea! It comes after Vicky, who has indicated she would like to move to Australia on a permanent basis, had trouble telling recognising former PM Tony Abbott (right) and golfer Greg Norman
She surveyed the images for a moment, before conceding she had clue who the ‘banana hammock guy’ is.
A Banana hammock is a slang term for swimming briefs, also called budgie smugglers and Speedos.
‘The banana hammock guy strikes me as the kind of guy who would be knocking about with Trump, am I right?’ Vicky asked.
The question: Studio 10 co-host Ita Buttrose told Brit: ‘One of these men has spent decades in politics, and was our prime minister for 2 years… and the other man has won 91 golfing titles and is best friends with Donald Trump’
‘The man on the right (budgie smugglers) is Tony Abbott, a former Prime Minister, and the other one is Greg Norman, the famous golfer,’ Ita revealed.
Vicky, who starred in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia this year, felt compelled to explain her reasoning.
‘For a golfer he’s wearing a lot, and for a Prime Minister he’s not wearing a lot!’ she said.
Vicky was given an impromptu ‘citizenship test’ after confirming she was considering moving Down Under Permanently, asking: ‘Would you be up to adopting a little lost British girl?’
