The fourth season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Australia 2018 premiered on Network 10 on January 28 and has become one of the most talked about shows after a contestant’s sensational walk out and politically-charged discussions about Australia Day.
In the run up to the show’s season 4 launch, I’m A Celebrity Australia teased fans with cryptic clues about who the contestants would be and host Julia Morris warned that I’m A Celebrity Australia 2018 will differ from previous seasons.
‘Unless you literally take yourself out into Central Australia for a month, there is no way to prepare for it.’
Julia added: ‘So this year, celebrities may think they know what is going on, but we like to tip that on its head. And from what I hear everything has been turned up a notch to keep up the flow as well.’
What is I’m A Celebrity Australia?
I’m A Celebrity Australia is the Australian spin-off of the British show of the same name. Currently in its 4th season, I’m A Celeb Australia first aired on February 1, 2015 with Freddie Flintoff being crowned King of the Jungle in the show’s inaugural season.
The UK version premiered in 2002 on ITV and has wrapped up its 17th season in late 2017.
While the UK version is set in Australia, I’m A Celebrity Australia actually takes place in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.
The show’s premise involves celebrities living in the ‘jungle’, removed from the outside world, and performing challenges and trials in order to win certain foods and treats.
These trials are called Bushtucker Trials and are generally involve mental, physical or eating tasks.
The winner of the show gets to donate $100,000 to a charity of their choosing.

When is the I’m A Celebrity Australia 2018 final?
As of yet, Network Ten hasn’t announced the date of the I’m A Celebrity Australia final episode, but historically it’s on Sunday or Monday night in mid-March.
We predict that I’m A Celebrity Australia 2018 final will air on March 11, 2018.
Season 1 ended on March 15, 2015, while season 2 ended on March 13, 2016, both of which were Sundays.

Boxing champion Anthony Mundine entered the jungle on Day 2, while his bitter rival Danny Green entered on Day 7.
However, after less than two weeks in the jungle, Anthony Mundine quit hours before completing the Viper Room challenge.
Bernard Tomic quits I’m A Celebrity Australia 2018
Having reportedly bragged before I’m A Celebrity Australia 2018 started that he was offered $1 million to appear on the show, tennis ace Bernard Tomic sensationally quit the show two days in.
During a Tucker Trial challenge Tomic was made to wear a pair of goggles that made him see as if everything were upside down. Saying he’d ‘never felt so ill before’, Tomic then said the famous phrase: ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!’
