Channel 10 under fire for casting depressed Bernard Tomic

Bernard Tomic stunned the nation by becoming the first ever contestant to quit I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! this Tuesday.

But the tennis star’s dramatic departure from the high-pressure show has had some fans questioning whether he should have been there in the first place.

According to adolescent psychologist Dr Carr-Gregg, Bernard’s behaviour during the first episode indicated that producers shouldn’t have cast the sportsman- regardless of his star power.

He later added: ‘Being there in the first place is really wrong.’
