Georgia Toffolo teased for Jacob Rees Mogg sexual tension

Georgia Toffolo is certainly in high demand, wooing eligible gentlemen wherever she turns.

On Wednesday, Tory MP Jacob Rees Mogg urged the Theresa May to enlist the help of the Made In Chelsea starlet to reach out to young voters after meeting her in Parliament; while Piers Morgan seems to have his eye on her as a prospective future daughter-in-law.

The 23-year-old Queen of the Jungle faced a ribbing from her This Morning co-stars Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who teased ‘Toff’ about the ‘sexual tension’ between her and 48-year-old Rees Mogg.

The pair revealed on Thursday’s show that the I’m A Celebrity… winner has been filming in Parliament for This Morning, making a film on Winston Churchill for the programme, which will be aired at the end of this week.

A clip of Toff meeting the Conservative showed her saying: ‘I must apologise for calling you a sex god. I’m so sorry!’

Toff indeed referred to Rees Mogg as such, when she left the jungle last month.

Rees Mogg replied: ‘I was mildly embarrassed but enormously flattered.’

Back in the studio, Holly said: ‘Flirting followed by Churchill. It’s the poshest thing I’ve ever seen on television!’

Phillip laughed: ‘There was a sexual tension there. A little frisson.’

Meanwhile, it seems Piers has his eye on Toff – for his son Spencer.

Spencer uploaded a photo of him with the blonde captioning it: ‘First date went well guys, thanks for asking @ToffTalks.’ He also uploaded a clip of her dancing.

The pair are old friends and Piers has said previously: ‘Toff and my oldest son, who is a good mate of hers… Spencer is going to be back, he’s going to be ready [for when she gets back from Australia].

‘He’s handsome, he’s intelligent, he’s got a good job, he’s well bred, good genes. Toff’s mother was up for this – we need to ask Toff. Now she’s coming into a lot of money, I have a lot of interest in getting them together.’

Toff has denied any chemistry, saying: ‘I think the romantic ship might have sailed for us. I don’t think Spencer would see me in that way, I can assure you.’

In response to this, Piers tweeted: ‘Toff gave an interview yesterday saying the romantic ship had sailed when it came to a liaison with my son Spencer. She’s just tweeted me and said “Piers, anything is possible when your son and I are united over a bottle of Apple Sourz”.’

Rees Mogg told Mail Online: ‘I would certainly encourage the Conservative Party to benefit from her appeal as far as possible and take all the advice she is willing to give.

‘I think she has two million followers on Instagram and that is rather more than the Conservative Party sadly – indeed it is probably about 100 times what the Conservative Party has.’

Toff also chatted to new Tory MP Ben Bradley, who was yesterday made the party’s new youth Tsar, during her visit.

The law graduate has reportedly set her sights on entering politics and being an MP one day.

Rees-Mogg said that while the world of politics and celebrity appeared to be very different, MPs can actually learn a lot from television stars.

And he said he would ‘definitely’ encourage No10 to pick up the phone and get some tips from Toff.

He said: ‘Downing Street would be very wise to seek her thoughts because she is clearly very professional.

‘She has had an appeal to a wide range of people in both of those programmes and although politics and celebrity is very different, understanding how to reach a bigger audience is important.’

Rees-Mogg said he thanked her for her ‘staunch support’ of the Conservative Party.

He said: ‘She has got the courage of her convictions and is extremely popular, and it is very important that the Conservatives have a broader appeal than we had in the last General Election.

‘And so I think her support is enormously welcome and valuable and something that Conservatives should be grateful for.’
