I’m A Celeb: Twitter rave about Shannon Noll singing


He is the What About Me singer who is currently ensconced in the South African jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

And on Wednesday, Shannon Noll whipped out his guitar and serenaded his fellow contestants with an as-yet unreleased, original song.

As the 42-year-old sang, he received heartfelt appreciation from inside the show camp and rave reviews from fans on social media.

His fellow celebrities listened intently to his acoustic tune, which made ’80s pop star Tiffany become emotional and shed a few tears.

Fans watching at home were equally as moved and took to Twitter to rave about the Orange-born crooner’s vocal styling.

‘Music solves everything’ Good on ya Shannon!!’ one fan proudly wrote.

‘It was a wasted year having @GuySebastian AND @NOLLSIE in the same season of Australian Idol. Amazing voices. #ImACelebrityAU #shannonsings,’ another added.

Before entering the jungle, Shannon explained that he had chosen the Black Dog Institute to help raise awareness about depression, particularly within rural communities.

‘I’d like to try and build some awareness and try and change the mentality, especially country folk, there’s a lot of suicide in the bush,’ he said.   

Shannon added that he hoped to help change they way mental health issues are perceived and explained: ‘It’s something that happens to everyone and that it’s something you can work through and not the beginning of the end.’
